Also during the RC Pro finals, WBD / K2RC team drivers Josh Glancy and Cade Whitenton tested the new carbon fiber arm plates for the Xray 808 series and XB9 buggies. The plates were also tested by Kurt Kellum and Josh Wheeler during the AKA Race in California the same weekend. Originally designed and tested in late 2009, we decided to bring them back and see how the plates felt with the updated XB9. On a variety of surfaces the plated have proven to be a great addition the already capable XB9 suspension and chassis updates. The plates eliminate arm flex which in turn give the car a more direct feel and allow the setup to take advantage of the traction providing a more consistent feel. These will be available on http://www.k2rc.com this week.
